Branding and design for HubSpot

A brand that survives its own website.

Most brands are finished the day the guidelines are delivered, and start coming apart the first week someone builds a page. We do both halves: the identity, and the portal that holds it. Colour, type and spacing become settings your team cannot break, so the site still looks like the brand a year later.

What's included

The identity, and the thing that keeps it.

A full visual system built for the web, then encoded into your HubSpot portal so every page after ours is on brand by default.

From €6,000

Quoted per project once we have seen the brand you have and the site it has to live on. The scope and the price are agreed in writing before work begins.

Positioning before pixels

Who you are for, what you sell, and the words you use for it. A logo drawn before that conversation is decoration.

Logo and wordmark

Drawn, not generated. Tested small, on dark, in a favicon, and next to your competitors, because that is where most marks fall apart.

A visual system, not a mood board

Colour with contrast that passes, a type scale that holds from a caption to a headline, spacing on one rhythm, and a photography direction that survives a stock library.

Encoded as design tokens

Every colour, size and space becomes a theme setting feeding a CSS custom property. Nothing is hardcoded on a page, so nothing drifts and a rebrand is a settings change.

Module defaults that start on brand

Fields become choice lists rather than free text, and every module's default state is already the correct one. Building an off-brand page becomes work.

The whole portal, not just the homepage

Page templates, landing pages, forms, email templates, system pages and the brand kit in your account settings, so the brand holds everywhere HubSpot renders it.

A usage document people read

Short, specific, and about decisions rather than history. The long version nobody opens is not a deliverable, it is a receipt.

How it works

Positioning, design, proof, rollout.

Every stage is shown on real pages rather than on a presentation slide, so what you approve is what you get.

Position

We work out what the business actually is before we draw anything: the audience, the offer, the competitors, and the words. This is the part that makes the rest defensible.

Design

Logo, wordmark, colour, type, spacing and imagery, developed as one system. You see it applied, not floating on a white board.

Prove

We build real pages in the new brand before it is signed off — a homepage, a dense one, an empty one — because a brand that only works on the hero is not finished.

Encode

The system goes into the portal as theme settings, design tokens, module defaults and email templates, so the rules live where the pages are made.

Roll out

We apply it across templates, landing pages, forms, emails and system pages, then hand over the source files, the usage document and a walkthrough for your team.

Who it's for

When the brand is the problem.

Usually one of three situations, and they need different amounts of work.

No brand yet

A company that has grown past its first logo and needs a real identity before it builds the site it will keep.

A brand that drifted

Good guidelines, a site that stopped following them. Forty shades of the same blue and nobody sure which one is correct.

A rebrand to land

The new identity is signed off and now has to reach every page, template, form and email without the site sitting half-changed for a month.

If your brand is fine and the site simply needs building, say so and we will quote the build instead. Paying for an identity you already have is not something we are going to talk you into.

FAQ

Questions we hear a lot.

Do you do the logo, or only the website design?+
Both. Positioning, logo, wordmark, colour, type and the rest of the visual system are part of the work. What makes it different from a branding agency is that we do not stop at the guidelines. We build the site that carries the brand, so the identity is proven against real pages before anyone signs it off.
We already have a brand. Can you skip to the implementation?+
Yes, and it costs less. We audit what you have, keep what works, fix what does not survive the web, and encode the result into your portal as design tokens and theme settings. Most brands built for print need a handful of web-only decisions added: focus states, dark backgrounds, small type, long headlines.
Why does a brand drift after it launches?+
Because the guidelines live in a PDF and the website lives in a CMS, and nothing connects the two. Every new page is someone remembering the rules. We remove the remembering: colour, type, spacing and radius become tokens in the theme settings, and module fields are choice lists rather than free text, so an off-brand page is difficult to build by accident.
What do we actually receive?+
The identity files and source artwork, a usage document short enough that people read it, and the brand encoded in your HubSpot portal: theme settings, design tokens, module defaults, page templates, email templates, and the brand kit in your account settings. You own all of it.
How long does it take?+
Six to twelve weeks for a full identity and rollout, depending on how many people have to approve it and how much of the site comes with it. An implementation on an existing brand is usually three to five weeks. You get a timeline in writing after discovery.
What does it cost?+
From €6,000, quoted per project once we have seen the brand you have and the site it has to live on. The scope and the price are agreed in writing before work begins, and the price does not move unless the scope does.
Can you rebrand a site that is already live without taking it down?+
Yes. Because the site runs on tokens, most of a rebrand lands as a settings change rather than a page-by-page rebuild. We stage it, review it against the live pages, and switch it over in one move rather than letting the site sit half-rebranded for a month.
